Zipper Pull

 

Description of the Device

The zipper pull is a simple device that makes managing zippers easier. The small hook can allow users who may not be able to grasp the end of a zipper to hold the handle and zip with ease.

Decreased fine motor, strength and sensation in the hands.

Individuals with limited use of hands, tremors, or limited coordination may benefit from this simple tool.

Cost 

Prices range from $7-$10 but will vary.

Support Needs (caregiver)

Caregiver may be needed for some dressing assistance but these low tech devices can greatly reduce the need for help and increase independence. Zipper pulls come in a variety of shapes and many times are part of a 2-in-1 button hook/zipper pull combo.
