Description of the Device
This water bottle is adapted with valves, but also has a motorized pump to bring the water up to the mouth. In addition this bottle has been fitted with a T shaped mouthpiece to prevent choking by diverting the water into the sides instead of directly into the throat.
Use of the device
This device helps provide independence in drinking to individuals with ALS, MS or another condition that may affect the ability to suck or swallow
