As we age we need more light to complete everyday tasks.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One simple rule is to always strive for balanced lighting, that is light from many sources instead of one single bright light.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To measure light, use a light meter such as this \u00a0one to help you measure \u00a0the light levels in your own environment. \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is research linking light exposure to sleep disruptions and additional health concerns.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is recommended to use bright full spectrum light in the morning and switching to the warmer lights later at night.
